A Matter of Opinion

[TRANSCRIBER NOTE: This text is accompanied by a sketch as described herein. --MK]

Preeesenting the first TEAM ELFQUEST meeting, which took place Saturday evening, August 21, 1993 at the San Diego Comic Convention, as seen through the eyes and sketchpad of "me" (a.k.a. Kim Allman, left center). Of course, not everyone who has worked or will work on ELFQUEST was there, but we had a good cross section of the tribe. From top to bottom, left to right... Barb Kaalberg (NEW BLOOD, BLOOD OF TEN CHIEFS), Andy Mangels (BLOOD OF TEN CHIEFS), Brandon McKinney (BLOOD OF TEN CHIEFS, HIDDEN YEARS), yr. humble editor (all over the map), Dwight Decker (THE REBELS, currently in development), William Messner-Loebs (interested, as are we), Kim Allman (ditto), John Byrne (NEW BLOOD, HIDDEN YEARS), Janine Johnston (BLOOD OF TEN CHIEFS), Pam Fremon (Bill Neville wrangler), Ken Hooper (NEW BLOOD, BLOOD OF TEN CHIEFS), Wendy Pini (HIDDEN YEARS and general guiding light), Kim Yale (NEW BLOOD), Bill Neville (NEW BLOOD), Deni Loubert (schedule wrangler), and one very skeptical Wolfrider. This is about one-third of the creative people whose work we've been blessed with; we wish we could have had everyone there. Over the coming months, these great folks will treat you to wonders such as ELFQUEST has never seen. The best is yet to come!
