I don't have too many complaints, really. Cosmo looks a little better in Rebels 4. Maybe it's just that he's mad most of the time. I can't help but wonder, though, that person on page 5... is it a man or a woman? I think it's a man. I think.
I wasn't so sure I liked the story before, but now, especially with the NEW BLOOD tie-in, I think I like it a lot more. I do hope L'Cota isn't going to be completely on their side. L'Cota would make a good ally, but I would trust him about as much as I would a grinning troll.
So, Chandra does have natural sending ability! She must be pretty strong too, if that guy had to punch her shields. After all, even with training (over in JINK) Kenn had no shields at all! At least, none that Graaf had any difficulty with. Well, that must be what was meant by Chandra being "both human and other" (that was in the back of one comic).
REBELS takes place at least a few weeks after JINK, right? It has to. Firstly, Steele refers to those "old experimental something units" (yes, I am too lazy to look it up), and I think I saw one in the first JINK comic. That would show the Rebels came after. Also, in Jink #3, the stealth ship that Kenn flies in is exactly the same as the one in REBELS! Go on, compare the descriptions and the drawings of them, I know I'm right. They're both called prototypes, too.
And the end... Cosmo finally is pissed off at the Skyward! Now the last straw will be when he finds out the Skyward killed (?) his aunt in that ship. I can't wait! I just hope he doesn't lose his skepticism.
One last thing: I think its idiotic to point to characters and say they're exactly alike. You should wait to see and let them both be individuals.

This letter actually applies to both REBELS
and JINK.
First off, I would like to say that I like your 'science' in your fiction. KT's or kites (kilotons?), zero g when the engines are off, max vee, and the rest of the terminology, the fact that it takes time to go from point A to point B; all of these realistic fundamentals make the magical parts such as JINK's teleporting more realistic and acceptable in their own right.
After all, what's the point of having a character doing something special if someone else does the same thing with a machine? Definitely not your typical Trekkie space opera. Good.
Secondly, as an 'outsider' who has never read any of the ELFQUEST books, I am glad to see that a knowledge of the previous history is not necessary. Yet judging by the letters, you include subtle references without losing the new reader. Excellent work.
One last note. Crossovers. Don't overdo it. The purpose of a crossover is to introduce readers to another set of characters they might not know, or because the story requires that the two should meet. Under the circumstances I think only the second rule applies here.
Also; I have to agree with an earlier letter that the art is very clear and concise (in both Rebels and Jink) and that you always "know where you are". Too many books are too confusing.
Keep it up. Forever!

Herewith a couple of sketches by the irrepressible
Delfin Barral of ideas for different attire for
THE REBELS' favorite androgyne, Shimmer. What do
you think? Hey, we could resurrect the entire Katy
Keene concept and open costume design to you the
readers! How about it, then? Keep those cards, letters
and innovative sartorial experiments coming in, and
we'll see you in 45! - RP
