iBmac - More Pics
Two more views of the (nearly) finished iBmac:

Here are two images to help illustrate the difference in size/shape between
the iBmac (or any PS/2 25) and an actual compact Macintosh. On the
right is an SE/30 with its built-in 9" B&W screen. On the left
is a Color Classic, which has a built-in 10" color screen. By
comparison, the Model 25's built-in display is 12" in diagonal -- of which a
maximum of about 11 1/4" is viewable. As you can see, the iBmac
is considerably bulkier than the compact Macs. It's still smaller than a
lot of other all-in-one IBM clones, though. I do wish the 25 had a
real carrying handle like the B&W compact Macs, though. :-)

iBmac in progress:

Here's the PS/2 Model 25 (with the cable adapters completed) being hooked
up to an LC II for testing. Both power and video are being provided by
the PS/2 at this point.

The Performa 476 motherboard and all drives have now been installed in the
lower portion of the PS/2 cabinet. This picture was taken just prior to
final assembly.
