Mystery Elfquest Theater Five-Six-Seven Eights

Infrequently Asked Questions:

What is Mystery Elfquest Theater?

Mystery Elfquest Theater Five-Six-Seven Eights started out as a silly one-off fanboy joke to combine elements of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) television show with Elfquest. It really wasn't much, and it wasn't supposed to go anywhere, but after getting some feedback I decided to try and run with it anyway.

The basic premise to Mystery Elfquest Theater is that the story of Elfquest wasn't a work of fiction conjured up by two people in Poughkeepsie, but was in fact a retelling of events that occurred on a real World of Two Moons-- and which were part of an elaborate plan created by two actual High Ones in order to gain power and wealth-- and to regain the Palace for the elves.

The story of Mystery Elfquest Theater isn't so much concerned with what happens to the Wolfriders (after all, you already know that from reading the first four graphic novels (or twenty original EQ issues)), but rather the story behind those events. For this reason, if you're not currently an Elfquest reader, these stories won't make much sense at all. [...of course, even if you are an Elfquest reader, they still probably won't, but that's another thing entirely...]

Will there ever be any more 'episodes'?

Probably. Or at least up to Show \124, which would correspond to the end of the Original Quest.

I can't find Show \108 or Show \109 in the archive.

That's because they're numbered in octal; the episode after Show \107 (eight-eights and seven) is Show \110 (eight-eights and eight). Simple eh?
